damn it i thought you'd never find my yearbook picture...

but in all seriousness...
every racer in that class runs what they believe is the best power plant to give him the best chance of winning... and as with anything. just because you make more power doesnt mean your going to win. its having the most usable power and makeing it A-B more often then not. these guys hate losing... its win at all costs to them... be it when a blower turbo or nitrous... the driver use's when ever he feels he has the best shot to win with.

And Sam Vincent is a sadist who enjoys beating his head furiously against a brick wall by running a small block nitrous setup.

Not sure... I think at the weight a db nitrous combo has to run at its pretty even...bb needs more inches or less weight though

BB nitrous combo current weight break is absolutely pathetic. They need to set the maximum cubic inches at 600" if they keep the weight the same. Or lighten them 150 lbs and go 565" maximum. The SB nitrous weight is ok but Sam is burning up parts again trying to go 7-teens. No way he can go 7-oh-anything without some weight off the car. He's already using more nitrous per pass than the ADRL Pro Nitrous guys.

Yea I saw what he was spraying... we are going 5.0s on 275s at 3000lbs with as mu h nitrous as he's using on his smallest hit.and we only have a cast intake and 1 carb... so I was very shocked when I saw he had 900hp in the kits

Whether or not he's telling the truth.......who knows. What I do know is that there is no place in SSO for a nitrous combination. Especially the BBF with the current rules.
