I have M1 that's closing in on 3 yrs old but only has 800 miles on it and still looks and feels bottle fresh. I know the manufacturer says X number of miles or 6 months, but but hell, they're in the business of selling product. I live in a low moisture climate so that's not an issue. I know the obvious answer is if you're concerned change it. But that's not my question. Haven't been able to find an engineer that will tell me if it deteriorates with age?
I guess the question is crank case shelf life?
