you can find a good v6 holeless lid for less than 400 in a junk yard. I actually plan on looking for a 08-09 lid with all the holes (sat included) for when I de-mod the car this coming winter.

LOL... I bought sensors for my aftermarket wheels and almost 2 years later, I still haven't gotten around to pairing them to the car....

thanks for this thread. Have the same issue will look into the strut nut (duh) to see if this resolves my clunking noise.. Note I have Steeda Sway Bars and End links, and that's not the cause of my clunking. Also replaced the lower a-arms with GT500 units... no dice.

Keep the push pins. Do not weld up the holes. The metal on the trunk lid is super thin and if not done correctly will warp and look like shit. Speaking from experience.

Same story as most I guess...Front end clunks and sounds like a whore's year-old mattress when traversing speed bumps. It ain't the end links and all that jazz, I've torqued and re-checked time and time again. Strut mounts are J&M and they are new. It's the hydro bushings and the ball joints...

wonder why the left front is heavier than the right front? where's the battery in a 2011-14?
