hahahaha I know dude it was a shocker seeing my car after I was done putting it together. To be honest I was irritated at first because raising it was going against everything right in my brain. The car just drives and performs SO much better with actual suspension travel, I could drive it all day long now. Never again will I go so low lol

The Koni + Pro Kit setup is pretty phenomenal for a DD. I only have the orange STR.T's but it's a great driving car compared to stock (or going lower with just springs and shocks/struts).

I'll take the bit of wheel gap for useability any day.

Car looks fantastic as always, Bad06.

Thought my gt500 axle back had a hole and a leak until I found the weep hole in the other one.

Yup, they have weep holes so they don't rust out. Mine will drip a little here and there, totally normal...be happy the holes are there. They will outlast any muffler without holes...

I just got the girlfriend's Konis installed on the front of her Shelby.

I also got under the car and took a few minutes to loosen/adjust/tighten (a couple of times) an exhaust pipe so that both exhaust tips point the right way (one of them's been pointing up since she had trans work done after she bought the car - clutch TSB)

Had my car on a suspension table having weight balancing, shock, and sway bar adjustments performed by a shop that works on Al Unser Jr's cars. The cars and the cleanliness of this shop are amazing.

You guys ever seen axle backs with tips that weren't level? The muffler bodies on my gt500 axle backs look level near as my eye can tell but the tip on the passenger side is sitting 1/4-1/2" lower than the driver side.

Pic? You sure the plastic lower valence isn't bent? They are thin plastic and can be moved back into shape if need be. My GT500's are spot on.

I think the rear of the muffler may be pulled up higher than the other one which would explain the situation. That side was a bitch to get mated up with the lethal pipe. I'll look it over again later this weekend. Felt like trash tonight so I let it go for now.

Pulled off the stupid stock mufflers again. On my way to pick up my fr500s axlebacks I bought off Cam. Can't wait to put those on again. Wish I never sold my last set. Car is washed up and as soon as I put the fr500s axlebacks on, me and the wife are taking it to the beach for the day

Well stupid ass FedEx didn't have the axlebacks ready this morning and now I have to pick them up on Monday even though they arrived to the sorting facility here in town this morning. Pissed me off since I had to go home And throw the stock mufflers back on. At least we still made it out of town in the mustang and just got to the beach. Just ordered a blue moon here having lunch so that made my day.
