So you dont' think a good set of LT's...off road X....maybe a larger t/b would net me another 30-40HP?????:thud:

I have an upgraded fuel system already...so that would not be an issue either.

RH

I think it would be hard to do. When are you going to start? I'd love to see the build thread.

BTW...the 410 was on a 96 degree day with 95% humidity in Georgia...lol.

RH

So were your numbers higher when corrected? What were the uncorrected numbers?

OP, I'm sorry for cluttering up your nitrous thread.

Those were non-corrected. I wasn't concerned with what the numbers "could" be on a perfect day...I was more concerned with what they are on an average day in the Heat Belt of the South!! lol

Build thread coming soon. I'm actually building a new motor. I already have a block ready to build...forged crank...h beam rods..Manley pistons...ported heads and Brenspeed blower cams.

After all that..I'll start stacking my pennies for a more serious blower.....looking for something in the 600hp range.

OP: you won't have any issues making the power you want to beat a stock 5.0 with your roush m90. just add some lt's , cams, & as said the smaller pulley & new crank pulley. of course you'll also want the fuel upgrade in either dual pumps or a bap.

seems like a stock M90 on a stock 3v makes 370-380whp. from a quick youtube search. with the 2.57 pulley, a retune and a few other mods i saw a few 400whp+.

with the wieght of the 3v vs. the 5.0 being more or less the same on an average. id be willing to say that a m90 car and a 5.0 would be a drivers race.

ive revisited the M90 route a few times. i realize its not accepted at a "baller" blower, but it makes good power for its size and keeps you out of the danger zone for the most part. a 400-430whp 3v will run mid to low 12s maybe 11.90s and be a hoot to drive.

I have the dyno sheet to back up my numbers with my M90, @ 430 rwhp on an email tune, with a stock fuel system, and my mods in my sig, I can see the M90 push at or over 450 rwhp with my mods, plus the addition of cams, upgraded fuel system, 10% balancer, hell even more on METH or Spray. Everyone loves to hate on the M90, because it isn't the big blower, that you have to de-tune on a stock block!! YEAH that makes a whole lot of fucking sense for someone that doesn't want to go into the engine and stay safe!! GO SPEND your $6000 on the TVS, get it dyno tuned and supporting mods and forge the bottom end to handle the power, I'll still sit back and smile with my turn key system with the upgrade kit and continue to stay safe on the stock bottom!! I get so tired of hearing fucking idiots say "Fucking baby M90's and their 380+ rwhp, that things a POS!!" For someone who doesn't track and/or is a daily driver like mine, the M90 is an excellent choice. Not even close to being or feeling like an average car at 420+rwhp!! You can't even use 600+rwhp on the street anyways!!

*officially off my soap box!!*

Amen!!

I got my kit for $2200 SHIPPED. Spent a hundred dollars or so on a few extra (missing) items and had it tuned. I'm into my whole setup for under $3k....INSTALLED and TUNED!!

On the street.....from stoplight to stoplight....I've handed many 500+hp cars thier proverbial asses because they can't hook up the power on the street.

If you want to go dyno racing your car...go ahead and bash the M90. I have two guys chomping at the bits to buy this blower from me when it comes off. I will be going to a bigger blower and forged bottom end...but for a daily driver (which my car isn't)...this is by far the best bang for the buck blower out there.

That's a big chip on your shoulder. Nobody is hating, at least I'm not. Nobody has said any of the things in this thread that you claim in your post.

If you do a search...you'll find many threads with negative comments about the M90. I don't think he was directing those comments to any of the responsed in this thread..except maybe your comment about "anyone got a dyno sheet to back that up" like you doubt the blower's ability to make the power.

You misquote me. I specifically asked the poster who was giving advice to the op. His advice was with a few bolt ons the M90 will make 450.

I don't doubt that there are M90's making that power. I do think it is more difficult than "a few bolt ons". I also think iats would be pretty high and unsafe at that level. To date I haven't found anyone who even knows what their iats are under load with full boost or at what temp thier tune will start to pull timing.

No Bruce not directly at you and your comments, just the amount of hate and downplay that goes on with the M90, from this forum. Not many are happy just at the fact it is a power adder and someone is going with it!!

Got a dyno sheet to back that up with?

The guy you quoted said "probably"...so he was going off what he had "probably" read.

So again I ask....if I'm putting down 410....you don't think LT's, off road pipe, t/b..maybe cams wouldn't get me to 450.

Would the IAT's change from thier current levels with the addition of the bolt-ons...but keeping the same boost level?

There's only one way to find out. I don't have the answer, only my opinion.

I think we are just a few posts away from having a mod come in here and clean the thread up. I'm part of the problem with this thread going off topic and I'm going to stop. Hopefully the op can get some experienced nitrous answers.

Sounds like the only thing he knows about the M90 is what he's reading. Not being a smart ass..lol...but the only person that knows what the IAT's were on my car is my tuner. I didn't ask for a chart of IAT's...but I'm sure if they were in the 'danger' zone...he would have told me.

His comment did sound sorta "attacking"....like he was asking for proof of the 450ish HP numbers because he didn't (or doesn't) believe the M90 is capable of it.

Seems I saw someone else's sig that claimed 480 on their car with a M90. I asked that person what they had done to thier car to achieve those numbers but never got a reply.

One more post. Louie, all I know about for sure is my car and the things I've done to it. I'm far from being an expert and learning all the time. I did spend alot of time at John's before he sold his business and got to see alot of cars being tuned which is where some of my opinions come from.

If u so spray a 50 shot expect it to be amplified by the blower. It will act like a 75 shot. From what I understand a blower or turbo will do that, because u are already craming air in the chilling effect makes it even denser.
