How did you get this shifter to work on the mustang shifter mechanism? Does it fit on it. And do you pull up on the one you installed to shift into gears

I remember seeing those a few years ago. I've seen a couple of threads and it is for the 55r5s and our cars. For the life of me I can't remember where or when or who you get these from. It was a small company. I just never had the interest as I thought the boot looked a mess, like a droopy diaper, but to each their own. When I have time I might visit my old moddedmustangs forum because that is where I think I remember seeing these.
