What's up guys,

I'm having this weird issue where once my car is at normal operating temperature my fans just stay on constantly. Tonight it's 52 degrees Farenheight and even with my custom boss 302 foglight delete kit (http://www.s197forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=118914) my fans are still full blast. Kind of odd as it's really not that hot out. I checked the tune and the fan settings for temperature is the same as stock. Could there be something in the tune that triggers these fans to turn on at normal operating temperature?

Even though the fans may be set at a certain temp. in the tune The settings may say different in the handheld. Try changing them with the handheld and see if anything changes afterward. If so contact your tuner. Otherwise you have another problem.

Bama locks there tunes so you can't adjust anything. So your best bet is to call AM and talk to the Bama guys about your situation.

Mine are the same with a BAMA tune. I think they make the tune that way because loading the stock tune has the fans off under the same conditions the tune has them on.

Can you datalog to see if the fan is being commanded on by the ECU? I'm pretty sure it's one of the PIDs you can monitor w/ Torque (app) or your XCAL. If it's not being commanded on, you might have a short or a sticky relay

I'm having some trouble with the data logging. However I managed to get ahold of BAMA Performance and they had just sent me out a new tune. So i'm gonna load that sucker up and see how she runs with the new tune. I hope the fans don't stay on like before, if so i'll most likely just have to spend the money on a dyno tune.

The fans are coming on despite the setting in the tuner?
Mine match whatever I put in for low and high.
If your fans aren't "listening" to the tune it may be another issue.

It's pooring here atm, we got a massive storm atm. Once the rain cools off i'm gonna download the tune and let it idle then drive. I'll see what happens and get back to you guys. Thanks for the responses!
