Ive been hearing alot about lito tunes.. I hear he does a great job.. I just prefer dyno tunes more cause i can be there to watch everything an if i have any problems just take it right back to the shop...


Lito is a wizard with the 3v, not sure what else he tunes but he's a specialist on the 3v.
I always thought unless it's a HUGE name a dyno tune from the local tuner may just be correcting your AFR and throwing some timing at it and calling it done and you're down 500-800 bucks.

Also "street tuned" is more how you're going to drive the car with wind, road, hills, varying loads etc... instead of a straight pull in 4th gear behind a fan.

I did not see where you put the performance tune back in, have you tried restoring the original performance tune yet?


I haven’t tried that is it possible the street tune isn’t set up with the JLT CAI and the performance tune was?

Could be that the street tune was meant to use the original airbox, or it is just bad. Really not much difference between the tunes. With an auto it may be shift points and throttle response. Otherwise very similar. Been running a perf tune for 14 years with no issues. Mileage is around 25 highway and 18 city for me with my 5 SPD. Give it a shot. Only takes a few minutes

Yes it could be, but more likely just another example of BAMA tuning. Just go get some tunes for your car. Not understanding what all the discussion is about. You have a tune that works, move on to another tuner and don't look back. There is not much to figure out
