Ok guys I had a blowout last night on my 08. I waas running down the inerstate and the car started jurking and before I got pulled over the left front tire exploded! So I drove off the side of the road on nothing but rim. I had the Jegs's street star. I was pissed! I got out of the car and looked and I had scratches on the fender where the tire was slapping it and I looked the wheel and it looked fine. So I was pretty happy about that. So when I got it off the car I spun it round and looked at it and you couldn't even tell that I had a blowout on the rim. There is no dents or anything. The wheel looks straight.
I will say this it was a PITA to get the tire off with the 15 on the front. Everything was to low to get the jack under the car. I had jack under the a arm as good as I could and then get a floor jack under the side of the car.

I'm glad it happened there instead on being on the track. I will have the wheels checked for crackes. Guess I should have before the new tires. I got new tires mounted on them and they were still true. Not warped. So unless they have a crack I didn't see they helt up fine.
