exact tire size to be determined.

Those are friggin SEXY ass wheels brother! I say go 19". 25lbs for a 19" wheel is pretty good.

My wheels are 19x9. I could easily put a 285-35 on there. I'd have to check out the 40 series though. But 275's seem to be just right. Anything above a 285 and it will bulge. 255-35's are just a bit stretched. You can hardly even tell though. I'm running the BFG KDW2 tires and probably will not go with them again. Get too damned noisy over time. They handle awesome on the twisties though and do OK for traction unless you're really getting on it in 1st or 2nd.

I actually think your wheels, which are ASA if I recall, are identical to what I just ordered with a different name and slightly different finish configuration. When you pull up the two on tire rack (which is where I ordered mine) and flip between the two side by side they are the same. I basically bought the saem wheels you have. LOL.

Yes... they are that cool!

I will run 275/40R19 from these choices...
P-Zero All Seasons $188 ish or
Falken PT-722 for $220 ea. or
Hankook Ventus V12 Evo K110 for $192 ish ea.

The first two are 4 wheel rotatable. A plus in my book. The Hankook's are front-rear rotatable.

I just looked at the specs on the 255/40R19 Hankook V12 and on a 9" rim the have a section width of 10.2" and a height of 27" which should be almost square on the rim and almost identical in height to stock. They are $174 ea.

They will look sweet on your ride man

Sent from your moms phone

They had better! LOL! Second set of wheels this summer. And the last. My expecting wife (10 days to due date) was cool with it since it's almost a wash with my selling the DR's.

Mother fuc#er! One of the boxes had a damaged spot on it and when I pulled the wheel out of the box it has a small mark in it. I don't know if I should be pissed or not worry about it. I gotta call Tire Rack tomorrow.

Show us a picture. One cool as hell thing about these wheels are they're SO easy to touch up. If it's a scrape, touch up. If there's a dent, have them replace it.

Not acceptable, act now and get a replacement. You will always look right at it and you will think about it daily and hate yourself. Good thing you have pics for backup

I used to work in the packaging and shipping side of the shipping industry. Pics are worth a million words. If you have a potential issue, take pics.

How much were they? Link?

$200 ea.

I'm calling them this morning. Yeah they have Saturday hours! I was surprised. They have been easy to work with in the past, but I've never had any issues. We'll see how they handle this.

EDIT: HOLY SH!T!! There's a reason they are so big. No questions asked. We have another wheel. We'll ship it Monday. We'll issue a call tag through UPS. No hassles. That's how you handle a situation. I love working with businesses like this.

Damn, I think I like your wheels better than mine.

Tire Rack did you right.

What size tires are you running? I tried looking to see if you posted any pics. Didn't see anything.

I measured my rims for a outside-to-outside measurement and they measure 10 1/16". So I am looking for tires that won't look stretched on them. Square would be perfect. My car's a total driver so I'm looking at 275/40R19 Pirelli P-Zero Nero All Seasons so I can 4 wheel rotate. If not those I may go with Hankook Ventus V12's in 275/40R19 or Kumho Ecsta SPT in 285/35R19.

RIP - You will be missed
Outside measurement usually is an inch or so more than the advertised width, which is taken inside, between the bead seats.

You'll have to make your interpretation of "square" a little clearer. Understand that 45 and lower profile tires aren't even supposed to have a whole lot of sidewall shape to them or be way outside the wheels like the 60-series and taller tires are on regular sedans, minivans, and SUVs.

275/40 is as wide as you should go in a 40 series on 9" wide rims.

285/35 is definitely too wide.

255/40 will put the sidewalls right at the outside width of your wheels.

245/40 will be just a little inside (and probably would look "stretched" even though it is a generally acceptable fit all the way up to 9.5").

Here's a rough idea what a couple of the above sizes might look like (tire dimensions vary slightly from nominal/advertised size).
