they gave me very close to what i wanted plus the price of the gt500 was marked 4k under retail which at least in texas is a hard find. i left all the receipts that i got for it plus what i put into it. also gave them a small block of instruction on how the manual valve body works, etc... its a huge dealership in san antonio i went to and they seem pretty legit people. actually the easiest deal and easiest going salesmen i ever dealt with.

I'd be willing to bet that one of those guys that works for that dealership is the proud new owner!

I understand going from a highly modified car to a high performance car like the GT500. With your highly modified car, there's just too many things you have to keep track of to keep it safely operating. Also, you're always worried about what if this happens or what if that happens. Not to mention the ride has been made a bit rough from upgrading suspension components. I'm trying very hard to not do this with my current Mustang!

Sometimes, it's just nice to have performance that's from the factory.

On the other hand, the GT500 is quite a bit more stout of a starting point for massive modding!

Start a new thread and post up some pictures of the new ride man!!!

yeah that was my thinking almost exactly. i now have a much better platform to start with again. i wont have to get as extreme to get the same power and it will be alot more comfortable and reliable. i will post pics up as soon as i get a chance.

Damn my motor!

sorry man. i tried to contact a couple about a motor and they sold theirs already. saw this deal and they offered exactly what i was looking for. im willing to bet an employee is now ripping up san antonio with my old roush lol
