Looking at a 2008 Saleen and wondering if the pricing is right. Not sure how to find used pricing on specialty vehicles. Its completely stock and looks in pretty good condition from the pictures I've seen since its 4hrs away.

2008 Saleen SC281 RF Edition
Miles: 41500
Color: Black
Transmission: Manual
Upholstery: Black Leather
Engine: Stock 3v w/ Saleen Supercharger

Price: $30,000 or best offer

If I price out a 2008 GT with some options to compensate for a Saleen the price I get on the high side on KBB is $15,000. If I were to make an offer what would be a reasonable offer? Are Saleens even worth it considering they aren't made anymore and parts are scarce. It would be something different than the GT500 route and aren't seen often. I had an 07 GT w/ a Roush super charger and that was a great car.

I don't see it at that price. The saleen blower is a big minus to my thinking. You can get a pretty nice GT500 for that money and a lot easier to upgrade.

You can get a much lower mileage, same year GT500 for that price. Better in every way than the Saleen.

If you're buying it for the value of its performance parts and abilities then it's not worth it.

If you're buying it because of the name and aesthetics of the car then it's maybe worth it, but still think $30k is bit too high.

I personally love the looks of a Saleen Mustangs.

GT500 as well, all day over that car considering the money.
