What is the difference in sound that you get?

X pipes tend to have a more respy, NASCAR like sound where the H has a throatier muscle car sound.

i know it won't pass a sniffer, but how are people getting rid of the dash light?

Yes, tuner. Tuning for an offroad pipe is mandatory as it removes the catalyst over temp feature and shuts down the rear o2's.

Helped a friend install one of these recently. Fit is good, but that slip joint on the driver side with no clamp is not, it leaked like hell. Had to get a stepped band clamp on there to get it sealed up.

Concur; I did not include it in this thread but I had to get a 3" band clamp to put over the slip joint due to leaking.

I'm using it. Quality and fitment is good. You'll need a 3" Band clamp to seal up the slip joint and hardware to mount it up. That's about it though. For the price you can't beat it.

You can get that clamp at the local auto parts store. Just saw one today at O'reilies for $8
