Awesome times! How's the transmission holding up? Curious since both evo and PH have posted issues.

i gotta ask, what are you guys all doing to be pulling the tires like this.

I saw evo was pullin 1.67's, and pulling the wheels on the 5.0

i've got all the c/a's , koni's, ultralite springs, no sway bar, light rad support, race stars, dump it at 5k and 1.70's, 5400 last week and i finally pulled a 1.67, but it felt bla

Congrat's to JPC for being the First 2011 Mustang GT 5.0L in the 10's.... 24hrs to 10's is my style, but I decided from the very begining that we were doing things one thing at a time and keeping everything 100% Street including the Tires! Bascially run the fastest with as little changes as possible...

Awesome times JPC. Not to be a poor sport but I just noticed Evolution Performance bested you guy's times by running a 10.88 @ 127 MPH with a 100 shot, albeit with a custom tune and a few more extensive suspension mods to aid them though.

I can't wait to see what it takes to run 10's N/A in one of these cars.

I definetly wouldn't say we have more Extensive suspension mods to aid us.... More like the other way around....

Comparing Apples to Oranges

Remember we have a Street Car with Full Interior (Both Driver and Passenger 6-Way Powered/Heated Seats, Stock 3.73 Gears with Trutrac, Stock Springs, Ford Racing Shocks, Stock Mustang GT Brakes, Prototype CAI (Not Much was Gained) True 10.0 D.O.T. Tires and WE only ran a 100 Shot... This is a true street car that could be driven right to the track and raced!

My bad, thanks for clarifying though. :)

Apples to Apples Fred.. LOL

JPC= No tuning and has never suggested that they are tuning it.
EVO= Extensive tuning (according to your statements even if no tuning support is available and if you are tuning it you wont say how you are doing so

JPC= No CAI
EVO= CAI

JPC= Cat converters, full stock exhaust
EVO=Homemade offroad Xpipe no cats

JPC= 4:56 gears
EVO= Stated as saying gears wont do anything

Best of all is this;

JPC= Full disclosure on what they actually did to the car in less then 24 hours to run 10's...
EVO= Little to no disclosure on what they have done to the car in 20+ days...

The Tuning comment, I won't go there... you like begging don't you... LOL

Everything we did was documented by 5.0 Magazine for an Article, there is limited stuff that I could release.

I'm not discredting them, they did an awesome job especially in 24hrs. Justin, Tommy, and the rest of the JPC crew are a great bunch of guys. We do business with each other all the time, I'm just simply stating the fact that the comparison is Apple To Oranges!

I think you missed a few things...Spool, Slicks, Full Race Suspension, Race Seat, Missing Passenger Seat, How big was the shot.....?

The gear comment was never said directly to you.. Certain things are said by me to see how they circulate...

Begging? Far from it Fred, I'm not the one laying it all on the line hoping that customers will believe my bullshit and come spend money with my company so I can keep building high dollar race cars to feed my ego. I look forward to the results of the other 4 2011 cars you have coming in, especially the V6.

I look forward to the article and to reading about all of the information that you are unable to release at this time.

And I didnt miss anything. Your suspension was more race then theirs and a true trac vs a spool is a wash. The shot was most likely as large as yours and even if it was larger you had "extensive tuning" done to your car to their candid "no tuning" so again a wash.

The gear comment was made in public by you on a forum. Very similar to the "if they dont know what they are doing tuning this car they will damage your motor" comment that you made awhile ago.

And I agree JPC are a great bunch of hard working guys and I consider Justin a friend of mine. Even thru all the BS of this business he amazingly retains his "regular hard working guy" attitude.

I look forward to more results from both camps.

I'm pissed. I bought my car new in 06 and the best it went was 11.3 with thousands of thousands more done to it lol oh well when it gets back out I hope for 9s and that shouldn't be something a 5.0 can do in 24 hours lol

Congrats to both camps!!! This new car will be setting the bar for everyone for a long time!
