Almost 30ks base fore a coupe ...then add six speed, brembo brakes, gear's, nav, upgraded interior , 18 or 19 wheels they charge you anyway etc,etc 38 to 40k ...not a good move !

just buy the gt500 for 45k ...there are plenty of dealers selling for sticker or less now

Unfortunately you did read that right. To me the "bang for the buck" that the mustang is know for is going out the window. A base gt for $30k? Are you kidding. My 05 base gt's sticker price was $26.6 when I bought it 3 grand or so to some people is not much, but for me it is.

Its a little high.. but its about right.. It reminds me when I was in the time of the Japanese super cars( supra, mit vr4, 300z)... (I hade 93' TT300zx).. 300-320hp high tech cars.. all only lasted a short time due to the 38K+ price.

Back then we didnt have 10+% unemployment and the dollor was worth more... Maybe Obama will help us?

I still have my Dodge Stealth Twin Turbo (VR4) with only 26k on it, and I wouldn't count on Obama helping the small guy, they only like to bail out the big shots.

funny you bring that up.. I had a vr4 stealth for a few months till the stealership wanted more money for a down payment. haha I gave it back, but drove the shit out of it. The car already had a chip in there and with AWD, AWD stearing and the heavy weight, it was one of the best handling cars I ever had. If I had that other then my mustang I wouldnt of had a spin out smacking into the wall =-/ ... ahhhhhhh..

xplan will be accepted and its a couple hundred over invoice. so if they MSRP is 32800 and dealer invoice is 30200 xplan will be around 30500 or so
