Wow that is a tight fit! Looks cool though.
Enkei PF 01s definitely do not fit, the barrel hits. Same goes for American Muscle AMR and SVE Drift wheels both make barrel contact.
19" Ford 302S wheels fit with room to spare and that is what I'm running. Issue is the supply of 19" slick is limited while 18" come in many makes and sizes.
As far as the D Force wheels the clearance issue isn't the center of the caliper but rather the "ears" at the top and bottom, and the interference isn't huge but it is a definite no go.
Steve

We just got a bunch of take-off 2013 GT500 brake kits. I'll have them up in the classifieds for sale soon. I'll see if we can test fit all the wheels we have here at the moment to verify clearance while we're at it.
shameless plug... If anyone wants to purchase a full set of new take-off GT500 brakes we have them available and more on the way.
ready to pull the trigger on one of rehegan racings set.
couple questions.
1. brake lines are the same as 05-09 GT correct? Reason I ask is because I already have a set of goodridge stainless lines on the car. I remember hearing the brake lines were the same all through the s197 ranges.
2. how easy/hard is it to install the new rear calipers and brackets?
1. Yes.
2. Go to the 5.0 Resto website and watch the video. If you can do what's in the video, you can install the brakes. You have to pull the rear axles to install the mounting brackets. That's probably the most difficult part of the whole job, which isn't difficult at all.

Paul.
The rotating mass and unsprung weight of the four OEM rotors alone is almost 100 Lbs.!!!
We have spec'd directionally vaned-slotted, stress relieved rotor blanks that are clear zinc plated. The hard anodized aluminum floating hats attach to the floating rotors with 15 attaching bobbins.
The weight savings of these rotors combined with a set of lightweight wheels should easily drop 40# off of the heavy front end of a new Shelby. That's just a staggering number if you truly realize how important rotating mass and unsprung weight is to performance!
Not suitable for road racing. Street/Strip only.
For $995 for two rotors I think I'll do the one-time-only axle rebuild to use the OEM parts.
Full Tilt Boogie also says they are not suitable for road racing. That kills it for me.
I believe not suitable for racing is for the front 15 inch rotors.
Anyone wanna trade my 6-piston brembos for 4-pots? Plus cash though...
