Seems like it's still about $75 for the pan and another $60 or so for the "gasket" which is the windage tray, and with these two items and the 2013 GT500 oil pump/pickup from FRPP you should be good to go.

Is this correct, I have this vague memory of this part being harder to obtain for some reason! Will be a good reference for everyone. The new 5.0's have an 8 quart pan for extended drain, and also probably for oil temp control during moderate full throttle operation.

You do not need another oil pickup. The part is identical to your current 4.6 oil pickup tube.

You will need the bolts also. Not sure if they come with the pan. Since the pan is cast aluminum and thicker than the stamped steel pan the bolts are longer to reach through the lip.

Ah. Well, for some reason the FRPP GT500 pump comes with a new tube... which runs you $10 compared to just ordering the pump as a production part. Maybe it's packaging the new o ring, they just throw in the tube? That's how it often works.

Thanks for the info on the bolts. Steve, I suppose I'll need those fasteners.

I have to ask where you're finding those prices? Way off.

'13 GT500 pan $147.85
Gasket $69.26
Bolts $.78 each

Total $230 plus shipping, just need an e-mail address to send you a link to order. Feel free to PM it to me.

Thanks. Steve

Steve, how many bolts does it take? I have a bunch of those bolts rolling around in my tool box but not sure how many the pan takes. I had to replace my oil pan when I sold the engine (original cracked in the wreck) and I reused the bolts instead of using the new ones. I'm hoping I can find enough for a full set for eighty6gt.

I believe it's 16, Ford just says "as required".

Brian, shipping would probably be more than the bolts are worth - it's less than $20 from Tasca to throw them in with the order, from Florida to here I'm sure it would be $20+ to get a package of bolts sent :(

I really appreciate the thought, though!
