to answer the op's question, mine held a 150 shot no problem with 295/55/15 MT et street radials, and cut low 1.4 60's. Eventually you'll need a clutch.

Mines held on 150 for this whole season. Around 8-9 bottles. I have to have biasplies at my shit track to even cut 1.6s. Toasted my clutch and broke my factory diff.

Wow, thats a serious 60ft time! What ET's were you running? I want to put the 150 jets in soon. Also, what kind of kit did you use?

What kind of times did you get out of your car on the 150 shot? Also curious, what exactly happend to the diff? Thanks

Local car has been running mid 10s on a stock motor/trans in a 2012 GT with a 200 shot. At 4500+ elevation and 7k+ DA that is damn impressive. Car runs great.

What kind of kit is he using to spray 200? Do you know if he has any fuel system mods like a bap? Thanks

NX plate I believe. Wet kit, no fuel upgrades. I could be wrong since that is going off memory.

I've been thinking about doing a simple dry system on my '13 GT, but I keep getting different answers about tuning it. I've got more than enough spare/extra parts from my race car to put a system together, but I need to find someone who has *actually* tuned these cars for dry nitrous. I only want to run a .050 jet or so, nothing huge.

To Original poster, We have a customer on our plate, stock auto trans, stock engine, stock converter that does 10.80's on a 150.

As long as you have a reputable tuner you shouldn't have a problem with doing a dry shot. I would have my car dyno tuned and not mail order tuned with a dry shot just because you are needing to add the fuel with the injectors.

Most people prefer the wet should just because tuning is easier being that the fuel is supplied with the fuel solenoid.

If you want to spray a dry shot I'd call Monty at JMS for the tune, they actually sell a dry nitrous setup and supply tunes for them.

Thanks, I'll give them a shout and see if they'll sell just the tune. Their kit looks nice, but it includes a lot of parts I already have and a few I don't want.

JMS will sell you a nitrous tune only, I believe its $50. Please post your results!

Question for those with manuals.

Are any you of you using a controller? What ramp time? Do you spray off the line or lock first gear out? What window do you spray?

Yes. 0.7s ramp time starting at a 50shot(33%), no lockout on first, I spray from 3k-7k. I went 11.62@118 on broken diff(shattered spidergears) and toasted stock clutch on a 1.79 sixty. 4500DA. Our track is typically .3-.4 slower than darlington or BG.

Well, I ordered a dry nitrous tune from JMS yesterday. I've got almost everything pieced together. Just waiting for the TPS WOT switch to arrive. Is everyone mounting their bottles to the floor of the trunk like normal, or is there some trick new spot in these cars? I noticed Ford was nice enough to put gromets in the floor to route the feed line! :)

I plan on running a big shot for the track and a small shot for the street. I have settled on a 125 for the street.

Is a 200 shot too much? I have a direct port setup with a dedicated fuel system so I have no fueling issues. A direct port should be safer right? That's what I'm told.

Anybody running that big of a shot? I would have 2 seperate tunes.
