The new GT500 is a road track car, not built or intended for drag racing. The camaro isnt dying, GM already confirmed this. They are looking at ways to make it better. Putting it on the Cadillac ATS chassis was not a smart move. They realize this.

camaro isn't selling

make it uglier

camaro isn't selling

make it faster and more expensive!

camaro isn't selling

make it UGLIER

we're all out of ideas

Today, 700+ hp can go get coffee and cruise in comfort and safety. FUCK! 700+ hp should rape your senses and make you think you just saw the face of God because you should almost kill yourself, small children and animals every time you drive it. It should be so wild, Ralph Nader should just shit his pants and curl up in a fetal ball in fear of the unsafeness of the car. But it's all tea and crumpets with today's big power cars.

WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?

im fucking dying over here hahah

Thank you. So many people just want to go on and on about quarter mile times. Not every car is made for it. Had a local guy put twin turbos on a GT350. IMO he ruined that car.

The problem with the manufacturers' sales pitches is that their cars are either aimed at going in a straight line as fast as possible, or around the Nurburgring as fast as possible. Most car owners do neither and drive in the real world of stop-go traffic, potholed roads, speed bumps, ramps, and roads with bends. Supercars are notoriously poor at doing most of those things.

Optimize the suspension for drag racing, then it's not optimized for road racing...and vice versa. Optimize the suspension for street use, then it's not optimized for drag racing.... nor road racing.

I'd prefer to have it safe for street / hwy use....at least controllable.

$2600.00 for the 'gas guzzler tax' wtf? The 13/14 GT-500 had no gas guzzler tax. The 13/14 GT-500 had a 3.31 rear end gear.... vs the 3.73 of earlier GT-500's.

Time for a hybrid, aka F1 setup.

Looks like the $67k base dealer cost that Ford let slip like 2 months ago then hushed and said wasnt official, was indeed correct.

Yes, fully loaded with all sorts of stuff u don't require. Loads of local plane jane 5.0 GT cars.... equipped with a block heater, wtf ? That's at local ford dealer. Rarely gets to freezing here.

On a similar note, I see that Mobil-1 now makes 0W-20, 0W-30, and also 0W-40.... all 3 are 100% synthetic. With any of em, a block heater wouldn't be required.
