alright, I'm about to buy gears for my car and I can't decide between 3.73 or 4.10 my car is a stick shift, also a DD. Could y'all explain why 3.73 or 4.10 are best, in your opinion. I do drag race a little.

4.10's are fun but running at 2300ish rpm around 60mph with 28" tires is not.

well its stock at the moment but mufflers are going on it tomorrow or the next day and in about a week an x pipe will go on it, then I plan having the gears installed (and I know its not going to add much power at all)

ive read around and it says mine has 3.55s and thats why i was thinking the 4.10s because people say you dont feel the 3.73s if u have 3.55s already

If you have 3.55s, dont waste your money on the 3.73s. Won't be worth it.
If you plan on staying N/A, I'd go with the 4.10s, just my opinion.

Stock power level, 4.10s will be great. It will feel like you added 80-100 horsepowers.

My vote goes to 4.10's
I went from 3.55 to 4.10's in my DD. It becomes a freakin missile at launch, love it!
Traveling from school includes lots of highway travel and I do 80mph at around 2700rpm, fine for me but I pass everything but a gas station

4.10's no question about it! I had almost the same mods as you and went with the 4.10 gear, one of the best decisions/mods I made.

I went to 4.10. I was getting over 20mpg. I'm running 4.56 now and still getting 18mpg. 4.10 are fun 4.56 are awesome.

4.10's or 4.30's at the most for an N/A street DD. 4.56 N/A street/strip. 4.10's will yield around 2500rpm at 70mph. 4.30's just a bit higher but the highest torque modifier before cruising rpm gets retarded (depending what speed you "cruise"). 4.56's you should just start in 2nd and shift from there lol. Awesome N/A gear for the track, but if you like to cruise around 80mph your car will sound like nascar just before the green flag drops lol. Might be annoying if your car is loud.

4.56 with a 6060 go together well. Sometimes I forget that people still have 3650 transmissions.

Is 6060's 6th deeper than the 3650's 0.68 5th gear ratio? There wouldn't be an rpm difference at cruise between the two if not. For instance if the O/D ratio's are the same, based on a 28" overall wheel size, if my 4.10's cruise at 2500rpm I will be at 75mph. Your 4.56's will put you at 2800rpm or so at 75mph. Thank god for VCT lol.

5th and 6th are .8 and .63 on the 2007 and 2008 transmissions. The 2009+ are .73 and .5 iirc. I have a 2008 version but if it's ever reworked I'll get the other cluster.

Going to the 6060 is one of the best mods I've done to the car. You forget all about the remote shifter because it's such an improvement over the 3650.

Liz. Why didn't you message me on Facebook? I have 4.10s about to come out off my car. We could have swapped gears...I'll let you have them. No excessive whine. Still have a few other goodies if your interested.
