3.73 or 4.10's That is the question

See, that's a problem i hated with my 2002 GT. When i was running at the drag strip, if i remember correctly its been so long ago, when i had 3:73's i would finish at the top of 3rd gear and i would have more room to shift to 4th but not enough to make use of it. Felt like it hurt my times and i would let off the gas right at the end and punch it again. I swapped to 4:10's and would finish well into 4th and my times improved. I know there are more drag racing solutions that changing gears, and people probably know better solutions to that. But that was my experience with 3:73 vs 4:10s. I know the newer mustangs are different from the older ones, but same principle exists.

The same principle holds, but the transmission ratios are completely different in the MT82 than the Tremecs.
