No "new" news?
The guy who built my short block said it is definitly a lifter issue... the noise wasnt there on the cold start and hes looking at me like im stupid.... as soon as it idled down ot start xmaking the noise again. Long story short he thinks it has something to with the regrinds and wants me to measure the cam lobes and compare them to stock ones... said there might be enough material gone to cause some slack... he wants me to drive it and get my rings seated... he said a couple heat cycles might cure the issue since it goes away when its warmed up.. he said its not off by much.
So gonna try and get this street sweeper out today and se if lito cant get the tune dialed in for me.
I was worried the 28" front runners were going to be an issue with the extra weight but it tucks nicely... I dont think I will be able to run my street tire setup with out changing the springs lol...
You could always swap the stock ones back in to check.
Yep, couple hours, couple sore back muscles, couple Tylenol and he's done!
DO IT!
