4 days of thrashing = new cage!!!

With the car running deep into the 9's and breaking into the 8's I decided that its time to put a real cage in this car really didn't want to but got tired of getting thrown out of all the tracks. I like the way my 6 point main hoop looked so I got with jrs fabrication ( they build evolutions cages) and had him bend me up some down bars and main hoop. I then took the car to my buddies shop and started thrashing on it for the next 4 days non stop. Besides the cage I am adding cobra imola Kevlar seats and had my buddy paint the cage white of course. Here are some pics I took while it was at the shop will have more pics of it finished this weekend when I get back from work.

Very nice, unfortunately I have to do the same this winter, necessary evil. Nice to know you can run without getting booted though. 8's with a 6pt probably get's tech's attention real fast

Everything is going back in but the back seats as they would be useless now debating on a custom rear seat delete or the boss delete. Tried ordering it today but was told that there not shipping out until the instructions are released from ford

Yeah this winter we plan on cutting them in just really wanted to get the cage and other things done first but by nmra Bradenton they should be in I hate climbing over the bar I did that enough with my black car

Here are some pics I took while it was in the trailer of it almost finished. I also decided to scrap my aluminum seat brackets I made and go with planted seat brackets which look way safe and sturdy. Will post up more pics once my ford racing rear seat delete comes in and gets painted white.
