I can guarantee you can get wheel-hop if you try, especially at the track. But it is fairly easy to avoid by adopting certain driving habits.
Wheel hop is caused by two issues. The first, and main, issue is axle wind-up. This is where, under acceleration, the axle tries to torque around (instead of turning the tires the axle rotates). This stores energy in the control arm bushings by deforming them, and when enough is stored the bushings will literally lift the axle off the ground. After the stored energy is released, the axle comes back to the ground and the process starts over. This is traction Dependant, so happens mostly at the track or hard acceleration on the street. Using control arms with stiffer bushings will largely eliminate this issues.
The other sort, which can happen without traction, is caused by our cars improper rear suspension geometry, namely the overly short upper control arm. This also has a large effect on axle wind-up, so replacing the UCA can help, though the only proper solution out there is a Griggs torque arm (very similar to the one that MM sells for the fox and SN95 chassis). MM is supposed to be coming out with one, but they've said that for several years now...
