I can't even imagine what two smaller bb billet wheel turbos would do for boost response considering yours is already so good!

Germeezy is never right...:evillaugh: and one thing to keep in mind, I am sure you know this. But a twin setup with smaller turbos and billet wheels would have even better boost response. Also IIRC isn't your turbo not ball bearing which costs more but would make it spool even faster?

It would be crazy! I bet twin small billet bb turbo's would be on the verge of making pressure at idle! Might have trouble with vac! lol

The biggest difference you feel/notice with the billet wheel is just stabbing the throttle off idle starts making boost.

Yeap im journal bearing which is cheaper. The more expensive bb version ($800 more) is going to spin up quicker, and spool around 500rpms faster.

Good point on the lighter wheel as well, less rotational mass, easier/faster to spin/move more air as well.

Dont get me started I can talk turbos all day long lol. Im definetly a turbo power adder guy for life now!

With the new billet wheels turbos within reason with a proper turbo setup you can give your engine whatever powerband you want.

New question.

The Procharger with the MAF in the A/A, how much HP will the stock meter and Mafia support?

I'm pretty sure Mike rousch said I'm almost pegged there too at my 471. I thought they were good for a lot more.

Good question, not a big fan of the maf in the intercooler setup, little harder to judge max flow limits.

It all depends on the size of the piping the maf is in, blow-thur/draw-thru setup etc.

Very true, that's why there is no standard.

I was just curious in regards to the setup I have. I never checked how close I was to maxing the stock meter and Mafia. Before I go out and buy a BA5000, I was curious if anyone could tell me where the limit is.

If you do a little research you will see that it actually works, smartguy.

Agreed, I know a 408 stroker Saleen S351 owner with the setup.....but no its not better nor does it produce more power than a turbo setup. I know your reading comprehension may not be perfect and that cars can be a pretty difficult subject for you so I will give you the benefit of a doubt.

I think in the future you should probably sit your kid knowledge out of a grown mans discussion....:evillaugh:

Now back to regularly scheduled programming....

Marc are you thinking of running a different setup with a wastegate? Or leaving everything the way it is now and just switching the pulley? I think you will make your power goals on 17 0r 18 psi.

I will leave the D1 on it and see if I can make my numbers with the 3.85" pulley. If not, I have a 3.55" also. I am curious if I might need a BA5000 though. If all else fails, a JPC intake manifold should add another +/- 50hp. If I go to a F1, I will add a waste gate so i can make more power under the curve.

Mine is a 74mmbb Non Billet wheel on E85 with 24* of timing .

This graph shows torq and a/f . Notice the a/f was in the 10.80s as a flat line . I left it rich because this was a 21 psi's pull with a 75 shot . Look at how much torq I was making from 4000 to 5200 . We figured it would have shown 856rwhp and 925 rwtq. on a dynojet.
The reason I run less boost is when the nitrous hits it bumps like 2 pounds of boost more from my setting to around 21 , and Im running out of
Fuel Pump . Thats all going to change in the next two weeks.

Keep in mind this is on a mustang dyno which typically is about 15% off from the dyno jet we also go tune at.

Here is a graph which shows before and after pulls on c16 to e85 on 22 psi's . Boost Only on a dynojet.

dyno2.jpg

Notice the difference in torq at the same rpm between c16 and e85 because of the difference in timing .

Cant wait for my New Turbo , 80mm Billet Wheel triple bb. I think we will make 1000 rwhp thru the stock heads and cam at 25 psi's.

That had to be without a Mafia.

My Buddy Willie Figueroa tuned a twin turbo saleen that belongs to a friend of mine and made 1006 rwhp with stock meter and mafia .
The 76mm Turbo on a stick shift car will feel a little lazy until it hits boost . An automatic with a looser converter like my set up would work better . You can run a 67mmbb Billet like Lightblade and even stickshift it will spool up fast . You can make 700 plus with that Turbo.
