77779 kit

I've been looking at several ways to lower the Roush and originally being from the mini truck scene (though I've actually never had air suspension) I'm naturally drawn to "bags". The 77723 was the only kit I saw on your site and honestly it's a bit more than I'd like to spend. I did, however see the 77779 kit on AmericanMuscle that says is made by you guys that I would be interested in. I dont want anything special. I would only adjust to park or go over obstacles. My main concern is handling. Though I love the look I will not sacrifice handling for it. So where does this kit stand? Would it handle as good as say a setup with some nice coils and Koni sports?

The 77779 is our old kit. This kit will get you the look you are looking for along with the ability to go up and down. Ride quality and handling are good....

With that being said, if handling is really what you are after, save up and get the 77723 kit. Handling of the new kit is far superior to the older version. The newer struts are 30 damping adjustable and come with a threaded strut body so you can really fine tune your set up.

Also do not go off the pricing on our website, that is full retail because we do not really sell direct. Check with some of our dealers for the best possible pricing.

Handling isn't my top priority, but I don't want to lose any. I won't be tracking the car any, aside from the occasional run or two down the 1/4 at Beech Bend. I would like it to handle better than stock and similar to a set of nice coils and adjustable struts. That said I'll look around and see whats up with both kits on dealer sites. Thanks.

I have the newer kit that jeremy spoke of and can say nothing but good things about it
Find a place thats selling the new kit and itll be cheaper than direct from Airlift. I got a hell of a steal on mine
the new kit you can change the height by using the air pressure, and also the coilover adjustment screws on the struts to get same ride height as higher pressure, but at a softer ride.

How is the installation of one of these kits? They look like more work than my supercharger.

its as difficult as you make it.
if you just bolt the tank/compressor/valve down to the body and dont care if its in the way, thatll take no time at all, run wires/air lines and connect is also pretty quick if you know how to remove panels already.
rest of it is standard suspension swap + 1 or 2 extra's

Go through my build thread and you can see all that I did, built a mount for it, false floor, etc so my install took alitle extra time since I was doing everything specifically how I wanted it to.

Can you list some vendors I can check? What's the part number to the digital version of the newest kit?

Did you do UCA and LCA because they're needed or just because you wanted to?

The lca's arent nessecary, but upgraded bushings etc are nice for performance.
The UCA is needed because of pinion angle change as you lower your vehicle, need to correct it or you may thrash your pinion to death.

I know this is not help but I did get a chance to ride in a couple of the Airlift cars last year at the factory and all I can say is WOW!! If I had the cash I would have a kit on my car.
