Ac hot!

Need help diagnosing my ac. Ac clutch comes on and cold side stays at 40. When ac compressor turns on the hot side is at 50 then goes up to about 100.

Hot side? Cold side? Do you mean High side and Low side?

Normal AC pressures when system is running: high side ~300 psi, low ~30 psi.
So, low on charge or compressor took a shit.
