Does anyone know what parameters to look at when it come to tuning acceleration enrichment? My car bucks and jumps a little on tip in an wide bands goes to 18+ or so AF for a second. I am wondering if acceleration enrichment could be the issue. I tune using Delta Force software. The car is single turbo with blow though MAF, locked out cam phasers.

Depends on how the tune is setup. The Load With Failed Maf table can be used to predict fuel needs but only if the Aircharge Switch For Anticipation Logic switch is on.

It can also be the transient fuel tables that need to be adjusted. I've not found a simple "accelerator pump" function on my 3v database. Would be nice. Transient fuel tables give the ECU an idea of how much fuel did not make it into the last combustion event.

Sorry I don't have a straighter answer. Maybe someone else will chime in.

YOu don't build any boost on tip-in do you? That could cause it, too.

No boost on tip in. Your naswer will help. I will look at my tune and see if Aircharge Switch For Anticipation Logic switch is on. Thanks for the reply!

Been fighting with this myself. I've worked on the MAF transfer, Load with failed MAF, and the transient tables. It all seemed to help a little just need to play some more. You could try adjusting your manifold volume. I've seen others say that helped their transient fueling problems. I played with it a little but changed it back because it seemed to effect startup.

Check to ensure your injector data is correct. If you are still returnless, make sure to dial in the fuel pump voltage tables as well. Capping the pressure sensor transfer function helped with my random lean/rich conditions as well (desired pressure plus boost), so the ecu doesn't over compensate for pressure changes. LWFMAF table also helped.

Transient fuel table seem to be helping. I will keep you all posted. BTW are you guys running closed loop or not? I am running open to tune, but am debating on whether or not to close the loop once fuel and air modeling are fine tuned.

I use open loop for tuning but turn adaptive and closed loop back on for normal driving. I think that helps fuel economy and overall driveability but that's more personal preference than anything.

Yea I run in closed loop. Turned long term fuel trims off while I was tuning. Noticed the same thing. Ltft seemed to help fuel mileage. I did change the pedal threshold for open loop so it goes it faster.
