have been racing the last few weekends on motor only because the local shop that I buy my nitrous from had there pump go down and I have been running a lot more mph than I had been so after I got eliminated today because of my red light reaction I did a time trial with 150 shot. the only bottle I had was half empty and was only able to get it up to 925 psi. I reprogrammed my ecm, but forgot to lower my shift points and did a lousy burnout as if I were just running on motor. I spun the tires past the 330 and was off over 4 tenths by the 1/8th and had a nitrous backfire as it shifted to 4th because of my tune and still ran a 10.96 but at a trap speed of 127.41 which is 5mph better than what it normally runs. wow what a difference temps make. it was only 80 degrees here today and I cant wait till october.

Cold air plus possible a difference in the tune you should take advantage of?

Do you have the knock sensors active in your tune(s)? I would think the colder air would help prevent detonation and the ecm wouldn't pull timing on the big end.

running hto's and the only difference in the tune from previous runs is the shift points were raised or actually were not lowered
