If this is the one with the Modular Venturi Tube (insert) you won't need to. If/When you remove the tube, the airflow increases, therefore a tune would be required. Roush CAI is the same way. Actually I think the Roush one IS this one just with a Roush badge on it.

Yeah you can do it with or without tube. I don't think I still have that restrictor thingy mabob but I can look.
