At MIR for FFC, they were prepping and grooming the track every few minutes between class runs, sprying fresh VHT between class runs, whiping up condinsation if exhaust pypes drip, just doing an amazing job.

Those guys don't care how big or small the event. They are pro's and do an awesome job every time.

I just wish I had some DR's so I could compete... :sigh1: gonna be in the stands.
I love MIR, and from what I hear we have one of the best tracks, They really do a badass job of prep for ANY race, be it a test n tune or a midnight madness or a big event.
I might have to try to make it down next week to see Matt's car run.

For the 5.0, does anyone know how much the 85mm Accufab TB flows and how much the 90mm FRPP TB flows? I think I recall a post with someone saying the accufab flows more then the FRPP but I can't find it anywhere.

That was me. If you call accufab and talk to George he will have the cfm numbers for both set up's. They make both unit's.

The 90 has a reducer spacer that kills alot of cfm.

CJ's use those. It is a simple piece and light weight. Where they choose to mount them, on the firewall, makes for a difficult location for service. Passenger fender with a drain petcock on the bottom should solve for that. :D

Thank You for the info :hi:

Wouldn't you have to upgrade your valve springs to spin the motor that high?

I will be honest I wouldnt tell everyone to rev their stock coyote to 8000 rpms but I have been doing it. Sfi Ati damper is the only think ive changed. This winter I will put some billet oil pump gears in to be extra safe.

That Peterson will look good with some braided lines and AN fittings. I just removed my catch system off mine and went with breathers.

Yea it will look trick. Im going to use the oem 90 degree plastic connectors and slide the russell line over to it all clips into the valve covers.

I would also recommend using the Boss cam chain tensioners. They are different than the Coyote and will have less high RPM issues. They are cheap and easy enough to do while you are doing the oil pump gears.

Got those on the list aswell. I did the metal 2v chain tensioners on my old 3valve. Same type of deal.

Good deal. Sounds like you have it covered. How about valve springs? Livernois and MMR sell them (I believe the MMR units are a 3v spring repurposed).

I plan on buying another set of heads and getting them sent out for cnc and get the springs then.

Grab a set of cams and swap everything over once Ive maxed out the stock long block combo.
