Alternative to steeda Charge motion delete plugs (09-10)

Has anyone made there own delete plugs? It looks like all it does is block off charge air from traveling between intake runners. Might give it my own shot at making some if there isnt a write up on it.

Edit: i wont be that guy..... There is a difference between plugs and plates. 09 and 10 dont have plates on them

The plugs are pretty cheap, not like the plates. I picked up a new set of the Steeda plugs on eBay for 60 bucks.

Yea i saw that but i guess in my mind it seems like the item is to simple to be that much lol not trying to be jewish but damn 8, 1.5 inch little "dole" rods for 60 bucks come on

Go to www.onlinemetals.com and order some delrin rod. Cut it up and epoxy it in place.

i was going to say just drop the $60 and be done. While true there is not much in the package for $60 . what is your time and stress level worth? You buy the little kit and it is a simple install.

Well I hope you get it worked out. i was the same as you. I had been talking to the 05-09 guys and checking out plates. Than when I realized the 10 needed plugs I was happy to see the $60 price tag..until I saw the picture of a little handful of parts for $60. Opinions differ but I thought it was worth the $60 after they were installed.
