I have a set of AM classic look chrome wheels. Think 18x8.5. They are pitted, flaking and in poor condition. Michigan and time hve taken their toll. I really like the look and AM has sold alot of them, similar to craggars along with a rim like old school not the flat modern look. I got em used so unsure of history. Question? How long do these last if not subjected to Michigan winters? Is there a similar looking wheel that is perhaps lighter or better? I said i wouldnt spend money if it didnt make car faster so I guess I was lying to myself. Thanks

Thanks Squirrely; MadGT, im thinking TorqThrust might make the AM wheels. I do like them. I guess i dont need alot of longevity at 74 but would like it to be nice for kids

I bought a set of those in 2017 for my black 05. They looked great. Despite never driving in the snow. They lasted 2 years before they rusted around the inside of the rims and stopped holding air. They still looked great, but were useless.

Mine started pitting and flaking the first year. No snow ever.
