Was most likely going to go with RP this oil change. 5w20

If you plan to drive your car around town like a grandma to nab groceries, you are fine with 5W-20. If you plan to mod the engine and drive like you stole it....

I would opt for 5W-30 or 10W-30 first. CAFE laws are not enacted to minimize engine wear, only to gain a few tenths of fuel economy. Read post #30 and #31 to understand why. A 30 grade true synthetic will yield better efficiency than a 5W-20 syn/blend.

I have used Amsoil for 6+ years, great stuff, My brother is a dealer so I get it at cost.

I use the 7500 mile oil and change the oil @ 6000 miles. Stangs get an oil change once a year. I take the oil and filter to the local dealer and have them change it for 9.95.
