We're in High Point. My car is currently just south of you in Rock Hill at Pro Dyno (I believe you're in Charlotte IIR).
Oh, nice. I live in Ballantyne but on the SC side so I'm only ~15 minutes from Pro Dyno. What're you having done?

Indeed. My first track weekend there (also first ever), I corded the inside of my front tires not running camber plates, and completely destroyed a set of brand new set of Hawk HPS' (running with traction control on btw...). At one point I think I boiled some ATE super blue even with 2.5" brake ducts. Fun track though.
Hey Zack...long time no talk. You moved to DC IIRC...how's that going?

HPS...lulz. I would murder those.

I'm too close to the event to get ducting handled, so I may just run with the Wilwoods and 14" TP rotors. We'll see how that goes.

I missed the start of your thread. Nice car and I totally understand the need to do it all, your usage photo sequence is very familiar. ;)

Thanks!

I assume this means you've crammed churn in your Mustang?

I probably brag on the Mustang once a week as being a great do-it-all platform. Most of it is in response to people not understanding why I own one, which still leaves me scratching my head. Price you pay to be smarter than everyone else, I guess. :D

If I knew how to reference a thread on here, I'd link you to my build thread.

As I am an idiot, you'll just have to suffer for my incompetency and look it up.

Ah, the BBB build. I saw BruceH's for sale and was SERIOUSLY tempted to buy his GT/CS but decided to go Yote instead.

Yeah I was in DC for a while, then Florida, and now I'm in South Texas burning holes in the sky on the tax payers dime. Not a bad way to earn the coin to pay for racing! haha

Jealous that you got yourself a T2R.
I was thinking about the heavy breathing meme this morning as a dumbass decided to jog across the street. Against the light. Right in front of me. "WTF, dude? Don't you internet? Didn't you notice I'm a Mustang?" < heavy breathing >

Joggers..wearing headphones /earbuds are completely crazy. With very little volume, they are completely oblivious to traffic. Then we have the goofballs, with earbuds on, + smartphone, looking down, busy texting while walking across the main home depot driveway entrance. Same deal at grocery store. It sure gets their attention as you just miss then by mere inches, while leaning on the horn. Stupid as a brick.

LMK if you strike out. I was planning to keep them but could always sell them now and pick up another set later if need be.

I instructed at a private event a week ago for the Noble club, where some really nice hardware showed up. Nobles, Rossions, an Ultima, C7 Z06, GT3, among others. The instructors, on the other hand, showed up in a raggedy-ass Miata, 350Z, E36 M3, second-gen MR2, and my car of course. Not that it matters that much, but at least I was top of the pile. :)

I spent the majority of my time with the C7Z owner, with a few rides in a pair of BMW 550 and a Noble. As much as you think I'd be impressed with the Noble, the owner was new to the sport, new to the car, and quite timid. He was so heavily in the "this isn't for me groove" I wasn't able to do much to bring him back in the car, but seemed to post-drive and with a few follow-up emails to him and the chief instructor.

Say what you want about brand loyalty, but hory shet...the C7Z is God's freaking chariot. I'll also caveat that I was in the passenger seat and my only experience in the driver's seat is Forza 6. :)

I attended the aforementioned Noble/Rossion event not having time to prep the car in advance, so I only did 10-12 laps total that day and was careful with the brakes since it had stock pads and fluid. Never having done this before, it gave me perspective on what it must be like to show up to an event as a noob. I would've completely wasted my money on a track event if I hadn't touched the fluid or pads. Thankfully I had a sense of this going in, wasn't bothered, and paid nothing since I was instructing.

So while I didn't get a chance to upgrade before that event, I did this past weekend. Nevermind the Koni Garbage...errr Orange. That's the next to go.

v2 of the brackets I designed. v3 will be coming soon, now that I have the design finalized.
