yeah he sold his car that he had $40k into for about 20 grand. Thing had like 4k miles on it and still smelled new inside. Still can't figure out why he sold it. I guess after doing 11.2 in it he didn't want to put a cage in it and it wasn't fun anymore. It was such a garage queen that he never drove it or enjoyed it, then got annoyed with a $600 car payment. For that price I would have bought it and sold mine but I'd be worried about the damage he did running the 175 shot on the stock motor. The axle tubes were bent from running that too.
The guy that bought it a year ago still hasn't driven it since the day he bought it from mike, just sits in a barn.
Mike just bought a new house down the street, way bigger than his old one, 3 car garage, everything. I guess his business is doing good. He was ready to get a Shelby but he hasn't sold his old house yet. So I don't think his wife will let him get a new car soon.
We still talk all the time. He was at my wedding a month ago (cat's out of the bag now). We go shooting and play PS3 online often.
