So I am in the process of putting together a custom turbo setup.
I'm pretty sure I'm going to need a slimmer fan. I've been searching
And getting info . But I would need to run a shroud and whatever fan I decide to use. So I was searching around and it seem like the mark8 fans flow like
4000cfm and can be trimmed to be about 4" at the widest point!
So looking to see if anyone has used one of these?

I ran one on my turbo fox a lot of years ago, but not since. They do seem to be a bit more slim.

I had a mark viii for years and i do remember the fan being slim. There is defiantly room to trim the shroud. They do flow well. Mine locked up one time and you could tell as soon as it did. Temp went up quick without air moving in those cars. I know it's not exactly what you where looking for. But it's a little insight.

I have installed 3 of those fans...a Jeep, Ford van, and just did a Ranger.
Use a digital controller from http://www.dccontrol.com/
I trimmed 2 of them. They use Siemens motors from Germany, btw.
Still have a trimmed one in the garage...did you pick one up yet?

We actually used fans from a Volvo. The Volvo dealer had a stack of them (recalled due to bad relay).

Had them on many Fox Body street cars...some running low 10's.
