Well, my motor is down so need some info. Has anyone had ModMax to put a stroker kit in their block and assemble everything? I was going to use my aluminator block ship it to mod max, let them bore it 20 over do a low compression stroker 302 and let them assemble my long block.
Info Please!

Not sure if they will do that but you can always ask. I'm a dealer for them (under the ShadowLands Racing name) and I can tell you that I wouldn't sell their stuff if it wasn't first rate. We've used their stuff for almost 10 years.

sweet, I ain't sayin this just to kiss your ass but if your saying its top shelf, then I take your word for it SD. Your one of a hand full on here that I believe that actually has first hand experience with engine building. I called and spoke with them on Monday and they said it wouldn't be a problem and I was looking at 1200 bucks in labor. I really haven't heard alot about them and I used the search to see if they had built any motors for anybody on here. Livernois quoted me 14000 for their short block,stage3 heads,stage2 blower cams, labor, dyno time, and the typical stuff that goes along with a build. That was hard to swallow.

Here's what you'll likely get. Kellogg crank which everybody uses...including Ford. Manley rods just like everyone. CP pistons which not everyone uses. They are a little more than Manley or Mahle but you really have to try hard to fuck them up.

Reviving an old thread but it's it's the same topic. So modmax is great as a vendor but how about their branded product? Modmax cranks, rods, and etc?

From their site:
ModMax 4340 Forged crank
Forged 5140 Steel with 8740 bolts manufactured by ModMax and offer bronze bushings for full floating pins.

Just for closure, I ended up getting foxlake racing to do a complete stroker engine with tricked out heads. I reused factory block and heads. I heard great things on mod max, just went with foxlake due to them being slightly closer to me.

14000 that was parts and labor. Everything was new except for the actual block and heads. Not trying to start a war here because I don't even own the car anymore and I am out of the game, but Rons head work is 2nd to none. I had an 15% over drive, plus smallest pulley you can get from edelbrock 2.75 and still was only making 13psi of boost. Heads flow awesome
