Im getting ready to drop the subframe to replace my 05 3v's oil pan, or at least the gasket, while im doing all that, would yall suggest replacing or inspecting anything else? For reference this is a high mileage engine with stock internals

I hope this isnt a question yall hear too much, I dont want to beat a dead horse.
Thanks!

How high is the mileage?
If it's over 150k I'd suggest replacing the oil pump with a 13-14 GT500 high volume pump. Rod bearing wear isn't really a problem on these engines but you could inspect the upper/lower shells on the no.1 & no.8 connecting rods for peace of mind.
Keep in mind that even a 50k mile engine could have the same (or worse) degree of wear as a 150k mile engine if it's been frequently thrashed or if the oil changes have been neglected.

Lick it. Tell her she's a good girl, and button back up.

:)

Check your pan for the usual (crud/metal/etc). Unless you open it up and a political system crawls out, lick it and button it back up. I use Canton gaskets, FWIW.

Just realized I never responded to this like I meant to, but I took your advice on the oil pump.
Thanks!
