And what exactly is it that gives you the impression that you having a bad classified transaction with a section moderator and saying something about it is going to get you banned?
The only thing I have to question at the moment is when exactly did you buy the heads, how long did it take for you to get the heads, how long did it take for you to inspect them once received, and how long before you contacted Holywd once they were inspected? In your PM to me you make it sound like you paid the guy 6 months ago or something and have been trying to get a refund for months. But in the for sale thread, as of June 21, the heads still had not sold to anyone. And in the text screens posted in this thread, the refund conversation took place last night.
I'm sorry you got a bad set of heads. But I am not really feeling wave of sympathy come over me for you getting had considering that it appears that there was less than 24 hours from the time you popped a journal on the heads to the time you made a post about getting screwed, probably getting banned, not getting a refund, and Holywd giving you your money.
I started this thread to make sure I was correct in the unserviceablity of the heads prior to contacting holywd. It turned into more than that as time and my temper went on.
The deal took quite awhile to finalize. I didn't pay until the heads were pulled, inspected, and I was assured they were in good condition (I was interested in them when they were still part of the longblock).
I received them on wednesday, took a quick look and put them in the garage. Saturday morning I started to pull them apart and noticed the journals, then started this thread. I notified Caleb and he asked how I wanted to resolve it. I proposed the $100 and call it good due to the high shipping cost of the heads. At that point I was good with it.
I blew a gasket was when he asked me to choose between a money order or I could wait until next week for paypal money. All of my goodwill was gone at that point. He already had
my money, I'm taking a loss and a big chance that I can even resell some of the parts and he can't even do a partial refund on parts he had no business advertising or selling.
At that point I'm pissed but not enough to involve you. I can deal with the money issue and never asked for your help with that.
I involved you when I was pmed a thread that was similar. Obviously bad parts were shipped in that thread. At that point I felt it was in the boards interest to move it up the chain of command. I didn't hide anything from HOLYWD as he was cced the same pm I sent to you and KIMMER. I felt that if I was overreacting it would come out in the wash and I didn't want him to be blindsided by it.
I wasn't looking for your sympathy and didn't want to send the pm. I also don't want anyone else to have to go through this crap.
