If you are concerned about your pipes hitting the ground or if your pipes are hitting the ground, then follow this. We installed the Hellion kit on my car about 2 weeks ago. First ride out my car was making pipe to road contact all the time and it was only time before some damaged happened. So we pulled it on the lift and we were looking for everyway possible to cut and reweld pipes and we decided to hold off and get taller front tires instead.
So after a few days at home, I was talking to a buddy of mine and we just took it for a ride and I was barely able to get on it or even drive it. We started to talk in my drive way. Then my neighbor came over and he mentioned about being a way to raise the engine at all? Then it clicked to me and I totally forgot about having JDMs lowering mounts on there from the Saleen Supercharger. What that basically means is that I am a 1/2" lower than all the other cars and everyone complains about the pipes hitting the ground so mine was even worst.
Ok to fix the issue I started looking for motor mounts that would raise the car a little and found nothing. So then I went on Ebay and found circle track 1" motor mount adapters and bought them for around 15 plus shipping. The 1/2" ones are about 12.00 plus shipping. They looked nice. We installed them and raised the engine 1" above the old height, which comes out to be 1/2" over stock height. And no more rubbing at all. When it stops raining out ill take pics. Here is a link of where I got the mount adapters. If stock height then use 1/2".
