If you are running street tires do not lower the pressure to much, street tires are different than slicks. They will buckle in the center of the tread and only the outsides of the tread will contact the track. like 25 lbs at most. Do a small burn out about 10 ft and look at the tire track, make sure you have even rubber across the tread.

PS if it is light in the middle add air, if it is light on the outsides lower pressure.

Good Luck

13.5 with what you have done is "OK". Many, many people have gone a good bit faster with less. On stock rubber I went 13.2 @ 104.5 with just a cold air intake and tune. Not trying to be a dick, just saying.

Your remaining area for improvement isn't with your 60' if you're cutting 1.7s, it's with your shifting- where you shift, and how fast.

13.0x would be really good with your mods. A few guys have gone 12.9. I would say once you get to 13.2 you're doing pretty good.

its cool thats why i started this so i can keep track of times and have help from other members. On a serious note i believe my weight is holding me back a bit. I weight 300 lbs so thatss good ffor a tenth right? Time to diet for my next mod.

Dam 12.9 with cai and tune? Why are people saying 5.0s are the best then, lol. I was powershiting the shit out of my car, with cai, tune and 4.10s I was hitting 12.9s. Hired gun got me to 12.86. I guessit depends on the area also. Everyone with similiar mods to hat I had then were bearly hitting mid 13s.

I agree, its definately all in your shifting. The way my car sits(BBR Tune,410s,exhaust,etc etc)its a low 13 sec car but because I shift like I'm brewing a pot of coffee in between shifts, I run high 13s

Well I might get a friend to lend me his slicks on Friday, so let's see how it goes.
Sucks though cause I was so used to my 4.10s, and the expressway I was used to shifting to 4th at 85 mph or so, now I have to downshift all the way to 3rd, lol.
