I don't think I have heard of a double platinum tipped plug for that years but I could be wrong.

Are you sure they got all 8 out and did not break any not tell you?

Setting the gap on those requires a special tool which they may not have.

What is the brand of plug they put in there?

Yeah I thought so too.
So next week, I'll go back to this garage and ask to change them or get my money back ! But for sure, I will never go back to this garage for the maintenance of my mustang ...

All right guys, so with a buddy, we worked on the car this afternoon. We checked every single sparkplugs, 6 on 8 were loose ... so we tightened them up and make sure they were the good ones for this engine. They ARE. this is the good ref.
The problem wasn't from there. so we kept looking after it. and we found it ! The issue is from the wire than connects one of the coil. the little plastic part that connects the coil is loose and won't stay in place. So we taped it for now, the car works perfect now and it is back to 20 mpg ! Feels so great, what a relief !
So do you guys know where I can find or buy this little plastic part to change it ? (of course at the ford dealer but I don't wanna spend a bunch of money for that lol)
Thanks again for all your help guys ;)

In the meantime, use a 8" zip tie through the "clip" on the connector and then around the body of the COP to give it the downward pressure to maintain electrical contact.

All my clips are good, but I've run into times where one of them popped off at bad times. So as a matter of course, I zip-tie all of them down along with the fuel injector connectors.
