battery problem?

i just changed my battery to a optima red top...when i come to a stop my idle drops down to 500 for a second or two and comes back up to idle...what could the problem be? my tune couldnt have been erased anyway could it?

check the owners manual for the procedure to relearn idle after disconnecting battery. or just search for the many threads where this issue is talked about

I have a master disconnect on my car (and a red top optima battery)---I have to shut off the car with the master disconnect all the time (same as disconnecting the battery) and it doesn't effect the tune or how the car idles.
