Hey guys, before I get lit up, yes I did use the search and yes I read a lot of threads about headers and cams.
My question is what are peoples opinion of best header and cam pairing or does it make a difference which brands I have put in?
My other mods are 4.10's, JLT cai, custom tune from Mr. Norms, Full Mac exhaust. ( I didnt have exhaust done, it came that way when I bought it so I dont know more to tell. Cant see any part identifiers or #'s)
Dont know if it matters but my car is lowered and I have 18's on it.
I dont know that anything else I have on it matters but if there is another factor that could play in please let me know.
Also any sponsers that can hook me up with a good deal please pm me.
Thanks for any help guys.

any long tube headers will help but your cam selection won't have any bearing on the headers. If you do some extensive head work your header tube size may come into play, but for what you say you have planned I'd just get some long tubes.

Cam selection is another whole ball game.

To the OP:

What are your goals? and do you have a local tuner that can fine tune your cam setup... Some cams might be difficult to fine tune for a daily driver without a local dyno tune...

Im running Kooks Lt's fit and clearence is perfect.

More info would be great...

Yes Im sorry, heads and cams, not headers. Yes Im using a local tuner that is very good.
My goal is just to get a bit more HP than I have now. From what Ive read cams and heads will give me about 20-30 hp per so 40-60 total gains. That would put me right around the 400hp mark and I think for me thats going to be fine. Thought about going SC for a bit but I just dont think that I need that much.
Sorry about the poor information but im really new to this so im fumbling my way through what im doing.
Thanks for the help and any thoughts or direction is appreciated.

Soooo....with the mods you currently have....you think you have 340-360 now? I must have missed something in your mod listing.

From my point of view, Go with ARH 1" 5/8 catless and Run Comps SPR Stage 3 just while your at it I'd say go wth upgraded rockers since the stock ones suck.

Once u want new I suggest u get the LCA, UPA & Relocation brackets ... Trust me you wont be dissapointed ;)

Correction ...

Same setup but add CNC stage 3 heads.. lol

Do people even read threads anymore? The OP made an error he is looking for opinions on heads and cams not headers. Hopesmasher do you race or are you just looking for some more power on the street? Check out either the Fox Lake or Livernois Stage 2 heads if you want to spend the money you could get the Livernois Stage 3 heads. As far as cams go I'd go with a Comp XFI SPR #127400 or #127500. I'm sure BBR can recommend you a cam.

I dont race. Im just looking for more power than what I have currently. If anyone thinks that this is the wrong way to go and that there is a better way to get more HP without going SC or turbo let me know what that route is.
Thanks again.

If you are looking for a great set up, the livernois are good heads, and matched with some comp stage 2's, you could easily make 370 to 380, depending on tuning.

When I was at Hurricane we did a few custom Heads that always made huge power. As for other heads, I have had good feed back from several customers I sold FRPP heads too as well. I have also had very good luck with BBR heads on cams also(another option)

In the end it all depends on what your total goal is, and even though you may have posted it, I honestly didnt read every post.

Also, unless you are going to do the install yourself, have you looked into just getting a blower? They are easy to install and dollar for dollar you will make more power, and have more potential in the future to do what you want. Just a thought.

If you do have any questions, please feel free to PM me.
