I received a PM from PBstallis. He's right. I am sorry for my short handling of this, the words I used etc.

I apologize, and thank you for your patience with me PBstallis.

Here's his note:

"after cing other posts in the chit chat forum ic that my thread fits there properly,u could have been a little more forward with ur reasoning of the bat instead of calling me slick and maybe actually explaining to me in more detail,u came off as a dick to me,maybe u didnt try to or maybe u did, anyways thats all"

There is no way you can label one tuner the best; what mods do you have, what gas are you running, etc..save yourself soome grief and read through the forum for what tunes people are using and then conduct a search for said tuner to see what people think of them. There are some tunes that make more power on the dyno but don't do as well on the track.

Look at the vendor section and see who offers tunes and what they charge...and unless people have used multiple tunes from multiple tuners you will probably get thoughts/opinions of the tune/tuner that person has used.

I had tunes from BBR and Chris Rose and was happy with both of them; both were reasonably priced and resolved any issue I had quickly and professionally; I have since gone FI and have a custom tune from Mike Roush at Mid Atlantic Performance.

I havent had a whole lot of experience with different tunes. I have had a Brenspeed 91 tune, and a BBR 91 tune(the one I currently use) Honestly there was a night and day difference between the two companies for various reasons. BBR was so much quicker. I ordered the tune from them and within 4 hours I had it in my email. My car had a slight ping at high rpms so I emailed them back. They sent a new tune within 20 minutes and it has been great ever since. Brenspeed on the other hand took 2 weeks to get me a tune, and my car wouldnt run good at all. After 2 more weeks and 3 different tunes from them I had enough. They said I just needed to "mess with it" and see what happened. I didnt feel comfortable adjusting timing and such on my car so I went with BBR. BBR has great service, tunes, and products. Plus they are a site vendor. I would highly reccomend them.
