ok so i bought a procharger kit off a member here and i sent the money pay pal e check they got the money check cleared but they have yet sent me the damn kit. Its been 10 days since it cleared, i keep getting the run around how the kit is off the car and ready to ship except they gotta pulle the fuel pump. So last week they said they were gonna have the father pull the pump last fri and mail the kit monday or tuesday. So i email them tonight, they said her fiance was pulling the pump tomorrow and would mail the kit out next mon through her fathers work.

am i getting F%^ked and is there anything i can do about it if it does not get shipped by next Mon, i am gonna have to look into what i can do, first me and paypal are gonna have a talk.

i am pissed

have you contacted a mod instead of trying to burn this person online?

1. Take a deep breath and relax.
2. Document everything.
3. Keep all emails, PMs, photocopy of the money order that you surely made before sending it, etc.
4. Set a deadline and let him/her know you'll be contacting Paypal and an attorney on that day.

It'll work out, don't worry. It takes a special brand of dick to run off with that kind of money. And commit wire fraud, which is a federal offense.

Also, lesson learned: use PayPal to make a credit card (not bank accound) payment, so you're doubly protected.

All very good advice. Most importantly, keep all email correspondence between you and the seller.

While not bad advice at all, hopefully advice that will never have to be used around here.

Pm hawgman or kimmer
You would probably be better off contacting Kimmer. I had a vendor tell me yesterday that Hawgman is a real asshole. But either of them will be willing to help mediate the situation if you like

If your really concerned or don't want to wait just tell them to send everything they have now and ship fuel pump when it comes off. That way you'll have the majority of the stuff. Which will probably help ease any feeling you have of getting ripped off.

This is why I make sure I'm able to ship whatever I'm selling within a week of accepting money. Makes for less drama.

Internet fraud is a criminal offense. I personally have seen where the perp eventually was arrested by his local PD, and charged with multiple Felony charges. Not saying this is the case, just an FYI. As mentioned earlier, document everything, and give a little more time for the seller to act in a reasonable time. Courts usually interpret "reasonable time" as up to 30 buis days. Good luck, and I'm sure it will all work out for the good. One downside to Internet purchases is that we the Buyer usually tend to get "anxious" and are almost always a little sceptical about purchasing high end items without actually being able to see and feel them. I'm not saying there aren't some thieves out there, but in communities like this [clubs, forums]for the most part people are honest, even if sometimes they are a little slow to react. Keep us informed.

The guy is probably just dreading pulling the fuel pump, but I would be anxious also....thats not $150 you're talking about. but like suggested, get them to ship what they have. If they won't do that, then I would be worried

Maybe a dick, possibly a bung hole, but never and asshole. But the way, a bung hole is the hole on a wine cask that the spout gets put in. They sear the bung hole. I saw it on "Dirty Jobs".
