so all in all.....so far the BB kit is a success......yes?

Im wondering the sameee thing :)

-Aaron

Yes, so far it is awesome. I am only changing the Wastegate because I was going to upgrade it anyways.

For a cheap starter turbo kit, so far I have no complaints, but the plan from the beginning was to upgrade WG, BOV, and Turbo as funds allowed.

So far I am having good luck.

Until you melt/blow a cat.... Thats my biggest concern with the kit.

Yeah, thats a big worry for most people but I don't have any cat's anyways :p

I have not ever seen one of the BB kits personally, won't talk about pipe or parts quality but maf location/design sucks. You have to do very weird stuff to tune this things out, so I would add a newer properly designed intake pipe to the list. On3's got it better.

I was going to put some loud mufflers (3x20" round magnaflows) to add sound quality but retain my cats. So it wasn't too loud and still b somewhat legal.

The way he explained it to me is that the location of the MAF and the size of the intake pipe is the problem.

You need to replace the 4 inch pipe with 3 inch and there needs to be at least 4-6 inches of straight pipe before the MAF and 2 to 3 inches after the MAF.

So basically all you would need to do is get some 3 inch pieces of pipe and bend/weld them to this configuration.
