On the firewire cable, I only use 2 wires correct? Use 2 cut the other 4 off. or am I supposed to use the pin 3 & 4 plus the power and ground wires?

Ok, so should analog 1 be connected to the same analog wire that goes to the gauge?

you should have a 0-5 volt analog OUTPUT from the gauge, this needs to go to the firewire(3), and then ground the ground from the firewire(4) to the chassis of the car.

I give up... This thing is pissing me off. Feel like driving this bitch into a tree

Edit: Is there a certain time I need to connect the firewire to the livewire tuner?

what kind of wideband do you have? I can do some research on wiring to that specific one if you tell me

Also, try logging on analog 2. I have two gauges wired onto my firewire cable and relized after the first time trying to log and getting numbers that were nowhere near where they should be that I had them wired to the opposite wires I thought I did.

In my case

Thought WB was on analog 1 and boost gauge was on analog 2, after trying it found out they were the other way around. Maybe you hooked up to analog 2 wires instead of analog 1

where do you have the wires spliced in for the firewire cable right now? So there are two wire coming off of the red control box that go to the gauge. You need to use your volt meter to find out which one is the 0-5v signal with and which is the ground. Connect firewire wire #3 to the 0-5v wire and wire #4 to the ground wire.
