Well from what you have given me it looks like it is wired correctly. Does your gauge work? Can you use a volt meter to make sure that you are getting a voltage signal to the firewire cable? Need to figure out if you have a wiring problem or if the problem is in livelink.

I used the volt meter to find pins 3 & 4 on the firewire, then I soldered them on the little square connectors and pushed them through the plastic 4 pin connector. How should I check that they are getting voltage from the red box/sensor module?

Stick the + "needle" from the voltmeter into the back of the plastic connector until it touchs the pin and then touch the other one to a ground.

Have you tried datalogging on analog 2 yet, that would be a quick elimination for us.

Ok, I will try this. it will be a few minutes though.

Yes.

Is there a certain order you have to connect the firewire to the tuner?

like connect tuner to OBD port, then to USB/Comp, then connect firewire, or do you just connect the firewire anytime?

Ok, it has to be Livelink.

I went to performance monitor on my Livewire and selected analog 1 and set it as a plx wideband and it was reading the exact same thing as the gauge!!!!!!

All this fucking trouble and connecting and disconnecting wires and it wasnt even the fucking wires... wtf lmao

were you selecting other PIDs other than just analog 1 when you were first trying it out. I did that and noticed that it didn't work, so I selected just one more PID(I think it was MAF voltage) and then I got the analog readings. Apparently you need to have a common PID and not just analog ones in order to recieve info from the sct.

BTW, google mapped where you are and it is 5 hrs from here. There for a little bit I thought it would be faster to drive down there. Hope you get everything going and get it back on the road soon!

You couldn't have pissed him off more than me. I keep telling him I will get him to retune my car, but I keep picking up new mods to put on that will need a new tune. After I buy something else I put it on the shelf and wait for winter to install them all at once so I can just get it tuned once.

LITO, I WILL have you retune the car after I get all these parts put on. Want to do it once, not over and over!!!!

I wish I would have waited until Winter.... My car has been down the whole summer. Just didn't have the time to work on it, and when I did it was soooo freaking hot that I didn't want to.
